Mount Auburn Cemetery is located in Cambridge and Watertown Massachusetts and is a 174 acre landscaped cemetery that was founded in 1831 by a group who wanted to create an outdoor public park space. The goal of these founders was to create, not only, a place where people were laid to rest but a public area for the “living” as well.

1,000 Great Place to Visit in Massachusetts, The Madden Team Way

As you may know, Massachusetts came out with a list of 1,000 Great Places to visit in Massachusetts recently and the list is pretty incredible. Taking time to look over the list there are many places that are new to me and makes me question how much about this state I truly know. A cool aspect of the list is that all the places on the list are open to the public (not all are free of course though!). The list will eventually be posted on the Massachusetts Tourism website.
